the golden thread.
Happy Sunday, Reader
I talk a lot about internal mastery
But what does that actually mean?
And what does that actually change in your life or business?
Everything my friend, every-thing.
Anything you could want out of life, is downstream of Self-Mastery.
Any business goal
Any relationship goal
Any health goal
Starts and ends with conquering the self first.
If I had to give you a crash course on how to go from a passive participant in the game of life to a conscious co-creator -
it would be this…
I want to share what has worked for me,
and what I've found in others that continues to work for them
and how you can make this work for you.
Shifting from Passive to Intentional
Most people play the game of life passively.
They let things happen to them
And then deal with the consequences of that...
They watch the movie of their own lives without ever realising they are the main character
But geniuses, the great ones?
They don’t just watch the movie, they direct it, act in it, and produce it.
This realization alone awakens something in you
And this is the fundamental difference between a passive participant and a conscious co-creator.
P.S — I’ve never done this before but I’m giving away 5 Free Consultation Calls (usually £697) in exchange for filling out this survey.
Why? It helps me understand YOU, your struggles, your points of tension, a little better, so I CAN create, serve and maximise value in the best way possible :)
My team will pick 5 random applications (that are filled out properly) and you’ll be contacted to book a call with me personally. Speak soon.

So, how do you make this intention tangible?
The trouble with work of this nature is that it is mostly intangible.
But what geniuses do, that most miss, is that they find a way,
to materialize this intangible progress.
How?
A commitment to the practice of daily mastery.
With the knowledge that this will eventually compound into the quantum leaps
in their business or life that they've been searching for all along.
How do you commit to daily mastery?
Well, it first begins with understanding we are three-part beings.
Mind, body, and spirit.
I spoke to 1-1 client and now friend of mine about this earlier this week and he asked me:
“how do you create your daily routines?”
I answered:
“by making time to nurture each individual part that makes up the whole.”
See, we have this tendency to neglect one or more areas of our being.
Most live as single-faceted beings - for example, a slave to their bodily desires.
The good are dual-faceted, acknowledging the body as well as the mind
But the great ones…the great ones are in full alignment and live as three-part beings.
Once you acknowledge this, your job is to
make a little time each day to nurture each part of the three.
Feed and train your body
Feed and train your mind
Feed and train your spirit

It doesn’t matter what you do - it’s the daily commitment to progress in every area of your life.
Ask yourself honestly:
are you nurturing each area of your life as best as you can right now?
Is there an imbalance or disharmony you’ve been feeling as of recent?
Can you intentionally carve out more time in the day to be less passive and more active?
Don’t overcomplicate it
The separation between the greats and the average is usually simplicity.
Steve Jobs had this idea whilst he was at Apple:
“The further we get away from one, the more unnecessary complexity we invite. So each campaign should be one single idea, expressed clearly.”
And I think that massively correlates to the geniuses who have lived in the past and are living today.
Every link you add on a chain is a potential breaking point.
If something can be done in 3 steps, there’s no reason to do it in 4.
So bringing this back to your self-mastery,
you should aim to simplify as best you can.
The 4 hour morning routine won’t save you
Nor will reading a thousand books at a time
Or doing scattered work for 11 hours a day
just for the sake of feeling productive.
You need to identify the levers to pull,
that bring you back the most rewards.
And then just focus on those.
That might look like a 20 minute morning routine: 5 minutes of meditation, a 1 page journal, and 10 minutes of stretching
Or committing to just one book a month or one podcast a week.
Or focusing your most high energy hours on the tasks in your business that bring you the most results.
Then you up the intensity as you grow.
Self-awareness is the foundation of self-mastery.
The more you sharpen your blade of awareness
The easier it is to cut through the noise.
Reflecting on your thoughts, behaviors, beliefs systems,
actions and misalignment
Is probably the best use of your time
Becoming aware of your patterns, of your triggers, of your vices…
Then rewriting the script and movie for yourself.
This is the work that changes everything for you
This is the connective tissue between the greatest performers, entrepreneurs and creators
(I literally walk you through how to do this step-by-step right here)
So bringing this all full circle.
The greatest minds understand that self-mastery isn’t just about achieving targets, deadlines and goals,
or checking things off the list daily
It’s about discovering the never-ending art of becoming.
It’s about tuning into the rhythm of your inner world,
and embracing the power of intention.
Whether you know it or not,
you are shaping reality through your intentions.
By simply flicking the switch and becoming aware of this,
By nurturing your 3 part being you begin to unlock
the deeper layers of who you are
and who you are meant to be
and then everything will begin to change.
Because the self is the lens through which you experience
and interact with the world.
Every decision, every action, every relationship
is influenced by your inner state.
When you shift your focus to mastering your thoughts,
emotions, and habits, and intentions
By default, you create clarity, focus, and the energy needed
to reach whatever you have set out to do.
Whether it’s scaling your business,
building meaningful connections,
or improving your health,
The golden thread is mastering the one thing you have control over:
You.
When you conquer the internal, the external will always follows.
